Trip to
Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania)
Everybody from my family and closest friends knows that I enjoy the Baltic countries since my childhood... Its culture, languages, people, music, the inspiring white snow... It is an unexplainable passion.
In 2012, one of my favourite bands from Latvia (Prata Vetra) gave me the chance to visit Riga and see their concert live. It was amazing and I really enjoyed! However it was just a trip of two days and as I visited the city in the summer....I thought that it would look even more magical with snow. That is why that I decided to travel on November of this year to Latvia, to see snow for the first time (yes....it is beautiful but really cold!!!) and draw the city. Actually,I thought in my first visit that the city has great potencialities for drawing by its Jugendstill architecture, full of rich and expressive details....it could be an amazing scenario for a graphic novel or a comic book!! (I am already thinking in my next project ;) )
Well, but if you visited this secton it is because you are interested in viewing my drawings! It was really an hard challenge to draw with cold, but I am very happy with the results....and I hope you enjoy it too:
